I believe that curiosity is essential in science. Students must ask questions, explore, and seek to understand the world around them.
My Method
My name is Ignacio Mendez, and as a teacher in the French system, I am well aware of the requirements of the “Lycées Français”.
To guarantee results, my intensive courses are held weekly, with each class lasting between 2 to 4 hours, depending on the students’ level.
These classes are built on my own methodology, based on the pedagogical approach “THINKING-BASED LEARNING”
My methodology is divided into three areas of work:
1) Optimization of the working method
Setting up a suitable work organization, writing summary sheets, the process of preparing an evaluation, techniques to avoid procrastination, are some of the methods we cover.
2) Consolidate the basics of the subject
In my intensive courses I seek to consolidate the basics of the subject through analysis and reasoning, but also through curiosity and motivation. I give students confidence in order to push them towards their goals.
3) Resolve blockages through targeted exercises
In a transversal manner, in all sessions I solve exam models from previous years, in order to detect and correct recurring errors and basal problems.
